Bad boy drummer Aidan Burke of Dirty B takes center stage in New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart’s hotly anticipated follow-up to Dirty Past and Dirty Secret!
Aidan Burke is the perfect rebound guy for Jessie Law after she catches her asshole ex-boyfriend with his hands down some other girl’s pants. The world-famous drummer of Dirty B isn’t shy about his preference for no-strings-attached relationships, so when she meets him on a night out, she takes him up on his simple proposal: One night of fun. Hot sex. Zero expectations.
But Dirty B’s tour is over, and they’re back in South Carolina—which means running into Aidan more often than Jessie would like.
When Aidan saves Jessie from her ex-boyfriend by insisting the two are dating, the band’s manager convinces them to keep up the charade in the hopes of re-inventing Dirty B’s image as lovable bad boys, as opposed to d-bags. Now all Aidan and Jessie have to do is put on a very obvious, very public show to convince everyone their affection is real.
But pretending to be in a relationship is harder than it seems. Aidan’s hordes of jealous fans have no problem bombarding Jessie with threatening messages online—and worse. And things only get more complicated when Jessie realizes her feelings for Aidan may not be so fake after all. Can Jessie live with the risks? And is Aidan willing to let her?

Loving these DIRTY B BOYS !!
By amie
Love these Dirty B brothers !! Their brotherly love is fun yet also very deep. The family is amazing and I love getting to be a part of their special moments. Again Mila really steals the show I just adore her and love the details of her words and her hair and just envisioning her with all these guys wrapped around her finger !! I just melt when she is around. I also love seeing the progression of relationships continue and the band at different stages of their careers. Knowing that Aidan and Jessie have a past makes it fun my only issue is that I don't recall much of Jessie until now and it seems as if she has known them and been friends with and lived close to them forever ?? Regardless I love what she adds to the group and enjoyed the back and forth , wishy washy , indecision that plagued their journey during the FAKE but yet oh so REAL relationship.
One night out with Dirty B in town and Jessie's boring and safe world is thrown for a loop !! With the boys home and having fun the manager thinks it is a good idea for Aidan to keep up the appearance of having a girlfriend and since he was spotted with Jessie and she is a local and friend there isn't a better choice. They are both pretty cautious about this new venture and rules are put into place. BUT rules are made to be broken and who better to break rules with but the DIRTIEST B of them all !! LOL !! Aidan may not be the relationship type but that doesn't mean he doesn't know what he is doing or know where to find some help. I have to applaud his efforts and having the dual POV really helps to see that he tries and struggles and feels very much like Jessie. At times she was a little much but since Aidan wasn't opening up I kind of don't blame her for being so hard. They had a great chemistry , some panty melting scenes and some amazingly sweet scenes too.
I look forward to more and have really enjoyed getting to know these characters.

Jessie gives new meaning to the phrase "fiery redhead"!!
By Franci Neill
I've been looking forward to Aiden Burke's book since I finished Dirty Past a few months ago. The wait was definitely worth it.
We get to experience again all my favorites from both previous books, including the firecracker known as Mila, but we're introduced to Jessie's sister Saskia. And like most 16 year old girls is a total fangirl for not only Dirty B, but Aiden in particular.
"My sister is pinned against the window, face squished against the cold glass and her hands flattened against it. I bet she looks like Chewbacca or something from the outside."
We also get to live again the totally freakish way the identical twins Aiden and Kye talk at the same time,
"That speaking at once thing is creepy. Don’t ever do that again.”“Can’t help it,” Kye replies . “ One of those things.”
We finally learn how to tell them apart. And I love the attention to this detail Emma has given us.
This book picks up pretty much where Book 2 ended with Dirty B home on a break from their recent tour. In this book we're introduced to Jessie Law a girl who grew up with Aiden and his brothers. And let me tell you, there's no love loss between our H/h all stemming from a childhood incident. Which when I read it made me laugh out loud in the way Jessie described what happened and how she still holds a grudge against Aiden!
For reasons that are explained in the first couple of chapters Ads and Jessie come together as a couple to serve a couple of purposes somewhat reluctantly on Jessie's side. Needless to say the phrase "let the games begin" is very appropriate.
“I said it before , and I’ll say it again. You looked like you were about to lose your s***, and my hero complex kicked in. I can’t help bein’ this alpha.”
I absolutely swooned as we move through the story and Aiden starts to feel more for Jessie than he wanted to. It's clear to me they're both fighting what is a chemistry that while it's not sizzling is definitely fiery and is bound to explode at some point.
"That’s when her damn red hair and bright eyes and enticing smile drew me so far into her that everything else became a blur."
Both Jessie and Aiden fight the overwhelming feelings and the sense of rightness that they experience when they're together. Who knew Aiden Burke was such an alpha male? Not me that's for sure. The way he plays Jessie's body and goads her into doing things she thinks she doesn't want to do is so overwhelmingly sexy I can't hardly stand it.
“Open your eyes,” he murmurs, flicking his thumb across me slowly. “Then you know what you look like when you belong to me.”
Watching their relationship develop from a "have to" to a "want to" was so adeptly written and that it just flowed over the pages. And the more pages I turned, the better and better it got. Both our H/h learn a lot about themselves and seem to grow up a little bit and have to admit a few things not only to themselves but to each other. Which can be scary... as Aiden tells Jessie, "You remind me how to be me." This forces Jessie to admit to herself that she may be in deeper than she wants to be..."Did I really think I could do this and hate him?"
Since I'm getting to the point where it's difficult to not give any spoilers away, I'll finish with a few observations:
Aiden Burke is now my favorite Burke Brother
This is a book that should not be missed as you'll laugh, get a little irritated at both our H/h
Mila is back, is a strong focal point at certain parts of the book.... think a 2 year old and drums LOL
And finally, go 1-click this book now to get your copy so you too can be swooned by yet another Burke Brother

HLB Reviews Dirty Lies
By Home. Love. Books.
It's a fairly well known fact that I love Emma Hart's work, and I really loved the first book in the series (I did totally read this series out of order, oops). So going into this book I was prepared to spend some more time with the Burke boys of Dirty B, and meet whoever the new lady is that came into book two.
So I liked Jessie right off the bat. She has the best attitude, she's like one part sassy and one part sweet, and honestly you never know what side of her you are going to get. She has the funniest relationship with her family, the interactions between her and her little sister are hilarious, especially because her little sister is a 16 year old girl who is obsessed with Dirty B, and therefore fan girls all the time. I love the dynamic that Jessie has with her family, and even with her friends. But honestly, the best part about Jessie is the interactions she has with Aiden. They are so push and pull, they are so similar and have these huge personalities that when put together result in fireworks, and not always the super sexy type of fireworks. I like that Jessie is pretty comfortable in her own skin, and I think that really shows with the Dirty B crazies, when they start attacking her just for dating Aiden, and she handles so well, I was really impressed.
Aiden is interesting for me, because he has that whole alpha jerkish persona, which works for me on some levels, but other times I really wanted to like hit him over the head and be like, could you just think before you speak. But he can be pushy in good ways, and he the way he talks, well lets just say I can understand the appeal. I loved how much in denial that Aiden and Jessie were about each other, they are both so committed to the agreement that the relationship was fact, and honestly I think the only two people who ever bought into it was them. Neither of them was prepared for the other to come into each others lives in the way they did. But what honestly what makes it work between them is that they have such a long history together. Jessie isn't just some new girl he met on the street, no she is the girl he asked to prom and got turned down by, they grew up in the same small town, they have past together, even though it wasn't the best one. I think it kind of allows for the two of them to be exactly who they are in front of each other, because they already know each other, and that's what really worked for me.
I love Emma Hart's work, and I have really enjoyed this series. One thing I feel like I have to mention is Sofie and Conner's daughter from book one, Mila, well she deserves some serious credit for breaking tension and bring in the laughs, that kid is adorable, I love how she brings everyone together. I highly recommend this book, this series, and just Emma Hart in general.
